About this trail

RiverWalk Pedestrian Way is a 3.2 km out and back trail near Calgary. It runs 1.6 km each way. It is close to flat, staying between 1,040 m and 1,045 m. Hike Alberta rates it easy. Allow about 50 minutes of moving time. It meets RiverWalk Pathway at 0.8 km, RiverWalk pedestrian path at 1.3 km and RiverWalk Cycle Lanes at 1.5 km, and passes four other mapped junctions. Along the way you pass a viewpoint. Much of the route follows Bow River. Also used for walking and trail running.

Highest point 1,045 m, lowest 1,040 m, 6 m of climbing in total. Steepest sustained grade about 3% over 100 m.
